All the Pryor Pine, sized for a stocking. The same whipped tallow balm as our 4 oz jar (fir needle, sweet orange, cedarwood and vanilla) in a 2 oz jar that fits a coat pocket, a glovebox or a purse.

We raise the cattle on our Montana ranch, then render and whip the tallow in our own plant in Hardin. Small batch, limited for the season.

Why tallow?

  • Your skin knows it. Tallow is close to the oils your skin already makes, so it soaks in.
  • A little goes a long way. A pea-size dab does both hands.
  • You can read the label. Every ingredient is one you know. No water, no dyes, no fillers.
  • Nothing wasted. It comes from the same Black Angus we raise, cut and eat ourselves.

The details

  • Size: 2 oz (57 g) amber glass jar
  • Scent notes: fir needle · sweet orange · cedarwood · vanilla
  • Ingredients: ranch-raised beef tallow, organic olive oil, fir needle oil, sweet orange oil, cedarwood oil and vanilla
  • Texture: whipped and light. Firm in the cold? That's tallow. It softens as soon as it touches your skin.

How to use it

Warm a small dab between your fingers, then work it into dry skin: hands, elbows, heels and faces. Keep the lid on, keep it out of the sun, and keep water out of the jar.

Questions we get

How is the Mini different from the 4 oz Pryor Pine?
Same balm, same scent, half the size. Great for trying tallow for the first time or tucking into a stocking.

Who makes it?
S Ranch Meats, a family ranch and USDA-inspected butcher shop in Hardin, Montana (S Ranch, est. 1948), from our own ranch-raised Black Angus cattle.

Does it ship with beef orders?
Tallow skincare ships on its own, separate from frozen beef.

Handmade in small batches, so color and texture can vary a little from jar to jar. Please check the ingredients for allergies before use.
