Marcie’s Signature Chicken Fried Steak

Ingredients:
5 S Ranch Cube Steaks (8 oz each)
The Coating: 1 cup flour, 1 tsp Montreal seasoning, ½ tsp cayenne, salt & pepper.
The Wash: 1 cup milk, 1 egg, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce.
The Fry: ½ cup vegetable oil.
Instructions:
Dredge: Whisk the "Wash" ingredients in one bowl and the "Coating" in another.
Double Coat: Dredge steaks in flour, dip in the milk wash, then back into the flour for a perfect crust.
Fry: Heat oil to medium-high. Fry 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
The Gravy: Whisk ¼ cup flour into ¼ cup of leftover pan drippings. Stir for 2 mins, then slowly whisk in 3 cups milk. Simmer until thick and season well. Serve hot with mashed potatoes and corn!
